PRIMARY 5 MATHEMATICS
Focused Online Learning Group (2026)

Up to 20 percent improvement in accuracy, clarity of working, and confidence within one 10-session term
Why Parents Choose This Programme

Primary 5 Mathematics places heavier demands on thinking, application, and multi-step reasoning.
Many students understand concepts but struggle to apply them confidently, especially in word problems.
Our programme is designed to allow student to develop:
-
clear thinking steps
-
consistent methods
-
calm, focused learning routines
so students build confidence steadily and reliably as demands increase.

*Learning outcomes vary by student and depend on attendance, participation, and homework completion.
How Lessons Are Conducted

Each lesson follows a consistent structure, so students know what to expect and can focus on learning rather than guessing what comes next.
A typical lesson looks like:
A short warm-up to review key ideas and surface misunderstandings

Clear explanation of concepts using visual models and worked examples

Guided practice with step-by-step support

Application questions to build confidence with word problems

Brief reflection to consolidate learning
How the 10-Session Term Works
Lessons are organised into 10-session terms, aligned closely with the school term rhythm.
Each term includes:
-
9 teaching sessions
-
1 built-in learning buffer session

Why this structure is used
Over a 10-week period, it is common for students to miss one lesson due to CCAs, school events, illness or family commitments.

Instead of creating stress around make-up lessons or falling behind, the built-in buffer absorbs this naturally.
This 9 + 1 structure:
-
protects continuity of learning
-
allows the group to move forward together
-
no make-up lesson stress

Term renewal and payment rhythm
-
Each term runs for approximately 10 weeks
-
Enrolment is renewed term by term
-
Parents receive an email or group message before the next term begins
This reduces monthly payment fatigue and allows families to plan in clear, predictable blocks.
Parent Involvement
The programme is designed to support student independence, with simple and manageable parent involvement.
Parents are asked to:
-
Ensure regular attendance
-
Provide a quiet learning space and basic materials (paper and pen), Computer/laptop/tablet (with working camera)
-
Submit photos of completed homework before the next lesson
Parents do not need to sit through lessons or teach content at home. Guidance, correction, and explanation are handled during class time
